The United States Grand Prix 1980 was the 14th round of the 1980 F1 season, and took place at the Watkins Glen in New York State, USA, on October 5th.

Alan Jones won the race after starting in the 5th position, followed by Carlos Reutemann, and Didier Pironi completing the podium.

Bruno Giacomelli started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he suffered from electrical problems, and had to retire on lap 31st.
