The Swiss Grand Prix 1953 was the 8th round of the 1953 F1 season, and took place at the Circuit Bremgarten in Bern, Switzerland, on August 23rd.

Alberto Ascari won the race after starting in the 2nd position, followed by Nino Farina, and Mike Hawthorn completing the podium.

Juan Fangio started from the pole position, but only managed to finish 4th.
