1952 Swiss Grand Prix

The Swiss Grand Prix 1952 was the 1st round of the 1952 F1 season, and took place at the Circuit Bremgarten in Bern, Switzerland, on May 18th.

Piero Taruffi won the race after starting in the 2nd position, followed by Rudi Fischer, and Jean Behra completing the podium.

Nino Farina started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he had an issue with a magneto, and had to retire on lap 16th.

These included, Prince Bira, Harry Schell, and Hans von Stuck, all of whom suffered an engine malfunction, André Simon, Nino Farina, and Max de Terra, all of whom had an issue with a magneto, Stirling Moss, and Lance Macklin, both withdrew, Robert Manzon, who had a problem with the radiator of the car on lap 20, Peter Collins, and George Abecassis, both had problems with the halfshaft, Toni Ulmen, who had a fuel leak on lap 4, and Louis Rosier, who had to retire due to an accident on lap 2.
