1990 Spanish Grand Prix

The Spanish Grand Prix 1990 was the 14th round of the 1990 F1 season, and took place at the Circuito de Jerez in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, on September 30th.

Alain Prost won the race after starting in the 2nd position, followed by Nigel Mansell, and Alessandro Nannini completing the podium.

Ayrton Senna started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he had a problem with the radiator of the car, and had to retire on lap 53rd.

These included, Derek Warwick, and Éric Bernard, both experienced issues with the gearbox, Ivan Capelli, who had physical problems on lap 59, Gerhard Berger, and Stefano Modena, both retired dure to damage caused by a collision with other cars, Ayrton Senna, who had a problem with the radiator of the car on lap 53, Nelson Piquet, who had a battery failure on lap 47, Andrea de Cesaris, and Gabriele Tarquini, both suffered an engine malfunction, Olivier Grouillard, who had a problem witht he wheel bearing on lap 45, Pierluigi Martini, Philippe Alliot, Satoru Nakajima, and Jean Alesi, all of whom lost control and spun off the track, Emanuele Pirro, who had a throttle issue on lap 0, Martin Donnelly, who was injured on lap 0, and Roberto Moreno, Claudio Langes, and Bruno Giacomelli, all of whom did not prequalify.
