The Spanish Grand Prix 1973 was the 4th round of the 1973 F1 season, and took place at the Montjuïc in Barcelona, Spain, on April 29th.

Emerson Fittipaldi won the race after starting in the 7th position, followed by François Cevert, and George Follmer completing the podium with an expectacular comeback, all the way from the 14th position of the grid.

Ronnie Peterson started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he experienced issues with the gearbox, and had to retire on lap 56th.
