The Spanish Grand Prix 1969 was the 2nd round of the 1969 F1 season, and took place at the Montjuïc in Barcelona, Spain, on May 4th.
Jackie Stewart won the race after starting in the 4th position, followed by Bruce McLaren, and Jean-Pierre Beltoise completing the podium with an expectacular comeback, all the way from the 12th position of the grid.
Jochen Rindt started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he had to retire due to an accident, and had to retire on lap 19th.
