1968 Spanish Grand Prix

The Spanish Grand Prix 1968 was the 2nd round of the 1968 F1 season, and took place at the Jarama in Madrid, Spain, on May 12th.

Graham Hill won the race after starting in the 6th position, followed by Denny Hulme, and Brian Redman completing the podium with an expectacular comeback, all the way from the 13th position of the grid.

Chris Amon started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he had a fuel pump failure, and had to retire on lap 57th.

These included, Bruce McLaren, who had an oil leak on lap 77, John Surtees, who experienced issues with the gearbox on lap 74, Jo Siffert, who had a transmission problem on lap 62, Chris Amon, and Piers Courage, both had a fuel pump failure, Pedro Rodríguez, who had to retire due to an accident on lap 27, Jacky Ickx, who had issues with the ignition on lap 13, Jochen Rindt, who suffered a loss in oil pressure on lap 10, and Jack Brabham, who withdrew on lap 0.
