1969 South African Grand Prix

The South African Grand Prix 1969 was the 1st round of the 1969 F1 season, and took place at the Kyalami in Midrand, South Africa, on March 1st.

Jackie Stewart won the race after starting in the 4th position, followed by Graham Hill, and Denny Hulme completing the podium.

Jack Brabham started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he , and had to retire on lap 32nd.
