The San Marino Grand Prix 1986 was the 3rd round of the 1986 F1 season, and took place at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, Italy, on April 27th.

Alain Prost won the race after starting in the 4th position, followed by Nelson Piquet, and Gerhard Berger completing the podium.

Ayrton Senna started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he had a problem witht he wheel bearing, and had to retire on lap 11th.
