1986 San Marino Grand Prix

The San Marino Grand Prix 1986 was the 3rd round of the 1986 F1 season, and took place at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, Italy, on April 27th.

Alain Prost won the race after starting in the 4th position, followed by Nelson Piquet, and Gerhard Berger completing the podium.

Ayrton Senna started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he had a problem witht he wheel bearing, and had to retire on lap 11th.

These included, Keke Rosberg, Riccardo Patrese, and Piercarlo Ghinzani, all of whom run out of fuel, Michele Alboreto, and Huub Rothengatter, both had a turbo failure, René Arnoux, who had a wheel problem on lap 46, Philippe Streiff, and Jacques Laffite, both had a transmission problem, Teo Fabi, Andrea de Cesaris, Elio de Angelis, Nigel Mansell, and Patrick Tambay, all of whom suffered an engine malfunction, Jonathan Palmer, who saw the breaks of the car give up on lap 38, Christian Danner, who suffered from electrical problems on lap 31, Alan Jones, who suffered from an overall car overhating on lap 28, Ayrton Senna, and Johnny Dumfries, both had a problem witht he wheel bearing, and Alessandro Nannini, who had to retire due to an accident on lap 0.
