1993 Monaco Grand Prix

The Monaco Grand Prix 1993 was the 6th round of the 1993 F1 season, and took place at the Circuit de Monaco in Monte-Carlo, Monaco, on May 23rd.

Ayrton Senna won the race after starting in the 3rd position, followed by Damon Hill, and Jean Alesi completing the podium.

Alain Prost started from the pole position, but only managed to finish 4th.

These included, Gerhard Berger, who retired dure to damage caused by a collision with other cars on lap 70, Johnny Herbert, and Michele Alboreto, both experienced issues with the gearbox, Riccardo Patrese, Érik Comas, and Ukyo Katayama, all of whom suffered an engine malfunction, Aguri Suzuki, and Mark Blundell, both lost control and spun off the track, Derek Warwick, who had a throttle issue on lap 43, Michael Schumacher, who experienced an hydraulic malfunction on lap 32, Jyrki Järvilehto, who had to retire due to an accident on lap 23, and Thierry Boutsen, who suffered a suspension problem on lap 12.
