The Monaco Grand Prix 1991 was the 4th round of the 1991 F1 season, and took place at the Circuit de Monaco in Monte-Carlo, Monaco, on May 12th.

Ayrton Senna won the race from the pole, followed by Nigel Mansell, and Jean Alesi completing the podium.

These included, Mika Häkkinen, who had an oil leak on lap 64, Gianni Morbidelli, and Gabriele Tarquini, both experienced issues with the gearbox, Maurício Gugelmin, and Andrea de Cesaris, both had a throttle issue, Stefano Modena, Michele Alboreto, and Aguri Suzuki, all of whom suffered an engine malfunction, Riccardo Patrese, Mark Blundell, Satoru Nakajima, and Gerhard Berger, all of whom lost control and spun off the track, Ivan Capelli, who saw the breaks of the car give up on lap 12, Nelson Piquet, who suffered a suspension problem on lap 0, and Nicola Larini, Eric van de Poele, Pedro Chaves, and Olivier Grouillard, all of whom did not prequalify.
