1980 Monaco Grand Prix

The Monaco Grand Prix 1980 was the 6th round of the 1980 F1 season, and took place at the Circuit de Monaco in Monte-Carlo, Monaco, on May 18th.

Carlos Reutemann won the race after starting in the 2nd position, followed by Jacques Laffite, and Nelson Piquet completing the podium.

Didier Pironi started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he had to retire due to an accident, and had to retire on lap 54th.
