Ronnie Peterson won the race after starting in the 3rd position, followed by Jody Scheckter, and Jean-Pierre Jarier completing the podium.
Niki Lauda started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he had issues with the ignition, and had to retire on lap 32nd.
