1962 Monaco Grand Prix

The Monaco Grand Prix 1962 was the 2nd round of the 1962 F1 season, and took place at the Circuit de Monaco in Monte-Carlo, Monaco, on June 3rd.

Bruce McLaren won the race after starting in the 3rd position, followed by Phil Hill, and Lorenzo Bandini completing the podium.

Jim Clark started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he had a problem with the clutch, and had to retire on lap 55th.

These included, Graham Hill, who suffered an engine malfunction on lap 92, Willy Mairesse, who suffered a loss in oil pressure on lap 90, Jack Brabham, Dan Gurney, Maurice Trintignant, and Richie Ginther, all of whom had to retire due to an accident, Innes Ireland, who had a fuel pump failure on lap 64, Jim Clark, who had a problem with the clutch on lap 55, Roy Salvadori, who suffered a suspension problem on lap 44, Tony Maggs, who experienced issues with the gearbox on lap 43, Trevor Taylor, who had an oil leak on lap 24, and Ricardo Rodríguez, Roberto Bussinello, and Tony Marsh, all of whom withdrew.
