1957 Monaco Grand Prix

The Monaco Grand Prix 1957 was the 2nd round of the 1957 F1 season, and took place at the Circuit de Monaco in Monte-Carlo, Monaco, on May 19th.

Juan Fangio won the race from the pole, followed by Tony Brooks, and Masten Gregory completing the podium.

These included, Wolfgang von Trips, Ron Flockhart, and Mike Hawthorn, all of whom suffered an engine malfunction, Giorgio Scarlatti, and Harry Schell, both had an oil leak, Carlos Menditeguy, who lost control and spun off the track on lap 51, Ivor Bueb, who had a fuel leak on lap 47, Harry Schell, who suffered a suspension problem on lap 23, and Horace Gould, Peter Collins, Stirling Moss, and Mike Hawthorn, all of whom had to retire due to an accident.
