1992 Mexican Grand Prix

The Mexican Grand Prix 1992 was the 2nd round of the 1992 F1 season, and took place at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City, Mexico, on March 22nd.

Nigel Mansell won the race from the pole, followed by Riccardo Patrese, and Michael Schumacher completing the podium.

These included, Martin Brundle, Jean Alesi, Olivier Grouillard, and Maurício Gugelmin, all of whom suffered an engine malfunction, Gabriele Tarquini, who had a problem with the clutch on lap 45, Andrea Chiesa, Gianni Morbidelli, and Christian Fittipaldi, all of whom lost control and spun off the track, Pierluigi Martini, who on lap 36, Stefano Modena, who experienced issues with the gearbox on lap 17, Ayrton Senna, who had a transmission problem on lap 11, and Karl Wendlinger, and Ivan Capelli, both retired dure to damage caused by a collision with other cars.
