1986 Mexican Grand Prix

The Mexican Grand Prix 1986 was the 15th round of the 1986 F1 season, and took place at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City, Mexico, on October 12th.

Gerhard Berger won the race after starting in the 4th position, followed by Alain Prost, and Ayrton Senna, who originally had the pole position, completing the podium.

These included, Jonathan Palmer, who run out of fuel on lap 65, Stefan Johansson, Michele Alboreto, Piercarlo Ghinzani, and Philippe Streiff, all of whom had a turbo failure, Riccardo Patrese, who lost control and spun off the track on lap 64, René Arnoux, Derek Warwick, and Teo Fabi, all of whom suffered an engine malfunction, Johnny Dumfries, who suffered from electrical problems on lap 53, Alan Jones, who experienced issues with a tyre on lap 35, Keke Rosberg, who had a puncture that could not be repaired on lap 32, and Patrick Tambay, who had to retire due to an accident on lap 0.
