1970 Mexican Grand Prix

The Mexican Grand Prix 1970 was the 13th round of the 1970 F1 season, and took place at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City, Mexico, on October 25th.

Jacky Ickx won the race after starting in the 3rd position, followed by Clay Regazzoni, who originally had the pole position, and Denny Hulme completing the podium with an expectacular comeback, all the way from the 14th position of the grid.

These included, Reine Wisell, who did not classify on lap 56, Jack Brabham, Peter Gethin, François Cevert, Jo Siffert, and Emerson Fittipaldi, all of whom suffered an engine malfunction, Jackie Stewart, who suffered a suspension problem on lap 33, Rolf Stommelen, who had a fuel system failure on lap 15, and Graham Hill, who suffered from an overall car overhating on lap 4.
