2000 Malaysian Grand Prix

The Malaysian Grand Prix 2000 was the 17th round of the 2000 F1 season, and took place at the Sepang International Circuit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on October 22nd.

Michael Schumacher won the race from the pole, followed by David Coulthard, and Rubens Barrichello completing the podium.

These included, Gastón Mazzacane, Ricardo Zonta, Ralf Schumacher, and Jenson Button, all of whom suffered an engine malfunction, Johnny Herbert, who suffered a suspension problem on lap 48, Marc Gené, who had a wheel problem on lap 36, Heinz-Harald Frentzen, who suffered from electrical problems on lap 7, and Pedro de la Rosa, Nick Heidfeld, and Pedro Diniz, all of whom retired dure to damage caused by a collision with other cars.
