The Japanese Grand Prix 1992 was the 15th round of the 1992 F1 season, and took place at the Suzuka Circuit in Suzuka, Japan, on October 25th.

Riccardo Patrese won the race after starting in the 2nd position, followed by Gerhard Berger, and Martin Brundle completing the podium with an expectacular comeback, all the way from the 13th position of the grid.

Nigel Mansell started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he suffered an engine malfunction, and had to retire on lap 44th.
