The Japanese Grand Prix 1988 was the 15th round of the 1988 F1 season, and took place at the Suzuka Circuit in Suzuka, Japan, on October 30th.

Ayrton Senna won the race from the pole, followed by Alain Prost, and Thierry Boutsen completing the podium.
