2002 Italian Grand Prix

The Italian Grand Prix 2002 was the 15th round of the 2002 F1 season, and took place at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza in Monza, Italy, on September 15th.

Rubens Barrichello won the race after starting in the 4th position, followed by Michael Schumacher, and Eddie Irvine completing the podium.

Juan Pablo Montoya started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he experienced problems with the chassis of the car, and had to retire on lap 33rd.

These included, Juan Pablo Montoya, who experienced problems with the chassis of the car on lap 33, Kimi Räikkönen, Mark Webber, and Ralf Schumacher, all of whom suffered an engine malfunction, Felipe Massa, and Pedro de la Rosa, both retired dure to damage caused by a collision with other cars, and Allan McNish, who suffered a suspension problem on lap 12.
