The Italian Grand Prix 2001 was the 15th round of the 2001 F1 season, and took place at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza in Monza, Italy, on September 16th.

Juan Pablo Montoya won the race from the pole, followed by Rubens Barrichello, and Ralf Schumacher completing the podium.

These included, Enrique Bernoldi, who had problems with the chankshaft on lap 46, Alex Yoong, who lost control and spun off the track on lap 44, Heinz-Harald Frentzen, and Mika Häkkinen, both experienced issues with the gearbox, Jos Verstappen, who suffered a fuel pressure loss on lap 25, Eddie Irvine, David Coulthard, and Jenson Button, all of whom suffered an engine malfunction, and Jarno Trulli, who retired dure to damage caused by a collision with other cars on lap 0.
