The Italian Grand Prix 1999 was the 13th round of the 1999 F1 season, and took place at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza in Monza, Italy, on September 12th.

Heinz-Harald Frentzen won the race after starting in the 2nd position, followed by Ralf Schumacher, and Mika Salo completing the podium.

Mika Häkkinen started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he lost control and spun off the track, and had to retire on lap 29th.
