1991 Italian Grand Prix

The Italian Grand Prix 1991 was the 12th round of the 1991 F1 season, and took place at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza in Monza, Italy, on September 8th.

Nigel Mansell won the race after starting in the 2nd position, followed by Ayrton Senna, who originally had the pole position, and Alain Prost completing the podium.

These included, Olivier Grouillard, Stefano Modena, Jean Alesi, and Éric Bernard, all of whom suffered an engine malfunction, Jyrki Järvilehto, who suffered from an overall car overhating on lap 35, Riccardo Patrese, who experienced issues with the gearbox on lap 27, Satoru Nakajima, who had a throttle issue on lap 24, Pierluigi Martini, Roberto Moreno, and Thierry Boutsen, all of whom lost control and spun off the track, and Fabrizio Barbazza, Gabriele Tarquini, Alex Caffi, and Pedro Chaves, all of whom did not prequalify.
