1990 Italian Grand Prix

The Italian Grand Prix 1990 was the 12th round of the 1990 F1 season, and took place at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza in Monza, Italy, on September 9th.

Ayrton Senna won the race from the pole, followed by Alain Prost, and Gerhard Berger completing the podium.

These included, Michele Alboreto, Emanuele Pirro, and Jean Alesi, all of whom lost control and spun off the track, Yannick Dalmas, who did not classify on lap 45, Ivan Capelli, Maurício Gugelmin, Stefano Modena, and Martin Donnelly, all of whom suffered an engine malfunction, Aguri Suzuki, who suffered from electrical problems on lap 36, Olivier Grouillard, who had a problem witht he wheel bearing on lap 27, Thierry Boutsen, and Pierluigi Martini, both suffered a suspension problem, Derek Warwick, and Éric Bernard, both had a problem with the clutch, and Roberto Moreno, Claudio Langes, and Bruno Giacomelli, all of whom did not prequalify.
