1982 Italian Grand Prix

The Italian Grand Prix 1982 was the 15th round of the 1982 F1 season, and took place at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza in Monza, Italy, on September 12th.

René Arnoux won the race after starting in the 6th position, followed by Patrick Tambay, and Mario Andretti, who originally had the pole position, completing the podium.

These included, Roberto Guerrero, who did not classify on lap 40, Elio de Angelis, who had a throttle issue on lap 33, Bruno Giacomelli, who on lap 32, Marc Surer, who had issues with the ignition on lap 28, Alain Prost, who had an problem with the injection on lap 27, Niki Lauda, who saw the breaks of the car give up on lap 21, Jean-Pierre Jarier, who had a wheel problem on lap 10, Nelson Piquet, and Teo Fabi, both suffered an engine malfunction, Riccardo Patrese, who had a problem with the clutch on lap 6, Jacques Laffite, who experienced issues with the gearbox on lap 5, and Derek Daly, Derek Warwick, and Brian Henton, all of whom retired dure to damage caused by a collision with other cars.
