The Italian Grand Prix 1974 was the 13th round of the 1974 F1 season, and took place at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza in Monza, Italy, on September 8th.
Ronnie Peterson won the race after starting in the 7th position, followed by Emerson Fittipaldi, and Jody Scheckter completing the podium with an expectacular comeback, all the way from the 12th position of the grid.
Niki Lauda started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he suffered an engine malfunction, and had to retire on lap 32nd.
