The Italian Grand Prix 1955 was the 7th round of the 1955 F1 season, and took place at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza in Monza, Italy, on September 11th.

Juan Fangio won the race from the pole, followed by Piero Taruffi, and Eugenio Castellotti completing the podium.

These included, Mike Hawthorn, Karl Kling, and Luigi Musso, all of whom experienced issues with the gearbox, Horace Gould, Peter Collins, and Harry Schell, all of whom suffered a suspension problem, Stirling Moss, Jacques Pollet, and Jean Lucas, all of whom suffered an engine malfunction, Hernando da Silva Ramos, who had a fuel system failure on lap 23, Ken Wharton, who had an problem with the injection on lap 0, and Nino Farina, Luigi Villoresi, and Luigi Piotti, all of whom withdrew.
