The Indianapolis 500 1959 was the 2nd round of the 1959 F1 season, and took place at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indianapolis, USA, on May 30th.
Rodger Ward won the race after starting in the 6th position, followed by Jim Rathmann, and Johnny Thomson, who originally had the pole position, completing the podium.
