1992 Hungarian Grand Prix

The Hungarian Grand Prix 1992 was the 11th round of the 1992 F1 season, and took place at the Hungaroring in Budapest, Hungary, on August 16th.

Ayrton Senna won the race after starting in the 3rd position, followed by Nigel Mansell, and Gerhard Berger completing the podium.

Riccardo Patrese started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he suffered an engine malfunction, and had to retire on lap 55th.

These included, Michael Schumacher, who took damage to the wing of the car on lap 63, Riccardo Patrese, and Ukyo Katayama, both suffered an engine malfunction, Pierluigi Martini, who experienced issues with the gearbox on lap 40, Jean Alesi, and Eric van de Poele, both lost control and spun off the track, Bertrand Gachot, Aguri Suzuki, Olivier Grouillard, Karl Wendlinger, Stefano Modena, Thierry Boutsen, Érik Comas, Gabriele Tarquini, and Johnny Herbert, all of whom retired dure to damage caused by a collision with other cars, and Perry McCarthy, who did not prequalify on lap 0.
