The Hungarian Grand Prix 1989 was the 10th round of the 1989 F1 season, and took place at the Hungaroring in Budapest, Hungary, on August 13th.
Nigel Mansell won the race with an expectacular comeback, all the way from the 12th position of the grid, followed by Ayrton Senna, and Thierry Boutsen completing the podium.
Riccardo Patrese started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he had a problem with the radiator of the car, and had to retire on lap 54th.
