The German Grand Prix 1999 was the 10th round of the 1999 F1 season, and took place at the Hockenheimring in Hockenheim, Germany, on August 1st.

Eddie Irvine won the race after starting in the 5th position, followed by Mika Salo, and Heinz-Harald Frentzen completing the podium.

Mika Häkkinen started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he experienced issues with a tyre, and had to retire on lap 25th.
