1983 German Grand Prix

The German Grand Prix 1983 was the 10th round of the 1983 F1 season, and took place at the Hockenheimring in Hockenheim, Germany, on August 7th.

René Arnoux won the race after starting in the 2nd position, followed by Andrea de Cesaris, and Riccardo Patrese completing the podium.

Patrick Tambay started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he suffered an engine malfunction, and had to retire on lap 11th.
