1970 German Grand Prix

The German Grand Prix 1970 was the 8th round of the 1970 F1 season, and took place at the Hockenheimring in Hockenheim, Germany, on August 2nd.

Jochen Rindt won the race after starting in the 2nd position, followed by Jacky Ickx, who originally had the pole position, and Denny Hulme completing the podium with an expectacular comeback, all the way from the 16th position of the grid.
