The French Grand Prix 2004 was the 10th round of the 2004 F1 season, and took place at the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours in Magny Cours, France, on July 4th.

Michael Schumacher won the race after starting in the 2nd position, followed by Fernando Alonso, who originally had the pole position, and Rubens Barrichello completing the podium.

  1. Drivers would compelte a single flying lap, in the order the clasified in the previous race.
  2. Following the order from that attempt, drivers would complete another single flying lap to decide the final grid order.
