The French Grand Prix 1973 was the 8th round of the 1973 F1 season, and took place at the Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet, France, on July 1st.

Ronnie Peterson won the race after starting in the 5th position, followed by François Cevert, and Carlos Reutemann completing the podium.

Jackie Stewart started from the pole position, but only managed to finish 4th.
