The French Grand Prix 1962 was the 4th round of the 1962 F1 season, and took place at the Rouen-Les-Essarts in Rouen, France, on July 8th.

Dan Gurney won the race after starting in the 6th position, followed by Tony Maggs, and Richie Ginther completing the podium.

Jim Clark started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he suffered a suspension problem, and had to retire on lap 34th.
