The European Grand Prix 1995 was the 14th round of the 1995 F1 season, and took place at the Nürburgring in Nürburg, Germany, on October 1st.
Michael Schumacher won the race after starting in the 3rd position, followed by Jean Alesi, and David Coulthard, who originally had the pole position, completing the podium.

From 1996 to 2002 the grid order was decided in a single qualifying session which would last 1 hour. During this time each driver had a maximun of 12 laps to set their best time.
This time around, David Coulthard managed to secure the pole position with a time of 1:18.738 seconds, with his teammate Damon Hill rigth behind him at 0.234 seconds, helping Williams score a one-two and monopolize the first line of the grid.
