The Dutch Grand Prix 1983 was the 12th round of the 1983 F1 season, and took place at the Circuit Park Zandvoort in Zandvoort, Netherlands, on August 28th.

René Arnoux won the race after starting in the 10th position, followed by Patrick Tambay, and John Watson completing the podium with an expectacular comeback, all the way from the 15th position of the grid.

Nelson Piquet started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he retired dure to damage caused by a collision with other cars, and had to retire on lap 41st.
