The Canadian Grand Prix 1981 was the 14th round of the 1981 F1 season, and took place at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, Canada, on September 27th.
Jacques Laffite won the race after starting in the 10th position, followed by John Watson, and Gilles Villeneuve completing the podium with an expectacular comeback, all the way from the 11th position of the grid.
Nelson Piquet started from the pole position, but only managed to finish 5th.
