The Canadian Grand Prix 1969 was the 9th round of the 1969 F1 season, and took place at the Mosport International Raceway in Ontario, Canada, on September 20th.

Jacky Ickx won the race from the pole, followed by Jack Brabham, and Jochen Rindt completing the podium.

The reace did not end without incidents... 15 drivers out of the original 20 who started did not managed to cross the finish line.

These included, Bill Brack, who did not classify on lap 80, Graham Hill, John Surtees, and Jackie Oliver, all of whom suffered an engine malfunction, Jo Siffert, who had problems with the halfshaft on lap 40, John Miles, who experienced issues with the gearbox on lap 40, Pedro Rodríguez, who suffered a loss in oil pressure on lap 37, Jackie Stewart, who retired dure to damage caused by a collision with other cars on lap 32, Piers Courage, who had a fuel leak on lap 13, John Cordts, who had an oil leak on lap 10, Denny Hulme, who had a problem with the distributor on lap 9, and Silvio Moser, who had to retire due to an accident on lap 0.

There was also action outise of the track itself, and the stwearts decided to disqualify Al Pease.
