1968 Canadian Grand Prix

The Canadian Grand Prix 1968 was the 10th round of the 1968 F1 season, and took place at the Circuit Mont-Tremblant in Quebec, Canada, on September 22nd.

Denny Hulme won the race after starting in the 6th position, followed by Bruce McLaren, and Pedro Rodríguez completing the podium with an expectacular comeback, all the way from the 12th position of the grid.

Jochen Rindt started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he suffered an engine malfunction, and had to retire on lap 39th.

These included, Jean-Pierre Beltoise, Piers Courage, and John Surtees, all of whom experienced issues with the gearbox, Chris Amon, who had a transmission problem on lap 72, Johnny Servoz-Gavin, and Jacky Ickx, both had to retire due to an accident, Lucien Bianchi, who did not classify on lap 56, Henri Pescarolo, who suffered a loss in oil pressure on lap 54, Jochen Rindt, who suffered an engine malfunction on lap 39, Jackie Oliver, and Bill Brack, both had problems with the halfshaft, Jack Brabham, who suffered a suspension problem on lap 31, Jo Siffert, who had an oil leak on lap 29, Dan Gurney, who had a problem with the radiator of the car on lap 29, and Jo Bonnier, who had a fuel system failure on lap 0.
