1999 British Grand Prix

The British Grand Prix 1999 was the 8th round of the 1999 F1 season, and took place at the Silverstone Circuit in Silverstone, UK, on July 11th.

David Coulthard won the race after starting in the 3rd position, followed by Eddie Irvine, and Ralf Schumacher completing the podium.

Mika Häkkinen started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he had a wheel problem, and had to retire on lap 35th.
