The British Grand Prix 1988 was the 8th round of the 1988 F1 season, and took place at the Silverstone Circuit in Silverstone, UK, on July 10th.

Ayrton Senna won the race after starting in the 3rd position, followed by Nigel Mansell, and Alessandro Nannini completing the podium.

Gerhard Berger started from the pole position, but only managed to finish 9th.
