The British Grand Prix 1982 was the 10th round of the 1982 F1 season, and took place at the Brands Hatch in Kent, UK, on July 18th.

Niki Lauda won the race after starting in the 5th position, followed by Didier Pironi, and Patrick Tambay completing the podium with an expectacular comeback, all the way from the 13th position of the grid.

Keke Rosberg started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he had a fuel system failure, and had to retire on lap 50th.

These included, Andrea de Cesaris, who suffered from electrical problems on lap 66, Eddie Cheever, Marc Surer, Michele Alboreto, and Roberto Guerrero, all of whom suffered an engine malfunction, Keke Rosberg, and Nelson Piquet, both had a fuel system failure, Jacques Laffite, who experienced issues with the gearbox on lap 41, Derek Warwick, who had problems with the halfshaft on lap 40, Nigel Mansell, who felt unwell and had to retire on lap 29, Jean-Pierre Jarier, Chico Serra, Riccardo Patrese, René Arnoux, and Teo Fabi, all of whom retired dure to damage caused by a collision with other cars, and John Watson, who lost control and spun off the track on lap 2.
