The British Grand Prix 1973 was the 9th round of the 1973 F1 season, and took place at the Silverstone Circuit in Silverstone, UK, on July 14th.

Peter Revson won the race after starting in the 3rd position, followed by Ronnie Peterson, who originally had the pole position, and Denny Hulme completing the podium.

These included, Wilson Fittipaldi, who had an oil leak on lap 44, Emerson Fittipaldi, who had a transmission problem on lap 36, John Watson, and Chris Amon, both had a fuel system failure, Graham Hill, who experienced problems with the chassis of the car on lap 24, Jody Scheckter, Mike Hailwood, Jochen Mass, Carlos Pace, Jean-Pierre Beltoise, Andrea de Adamich, Roger Williamson, George Follmer, and Jackie Oliver, all of whom retired dure to damage caused by a collision with other cars, Graham McRae, who had a throttle issue on lap 0, and David Purley, who lost control and spun off the track on lap 0.

Qualifying
