The British Grand Prix 1963 was the 5th round of the 1963 F1 season, and took place at the Silverstone Circuit in Silverstone, UK, on July 20th.

Jim Clark won the race from the pole, followed by John Surtees, and Graham Hill completing the podium.

These included, Jo Siffert, and Ian Raby, both experienced issues with the gearbox, Jo Bonnier, who suffered a loss in oil pressure on lap 65, Dan Gurney, Jack Brabham, and Bruce McLaren, all of whom suffered an engine malfunction, Ian Burgess, Innes Ireland, and Tony Settember, all of whom had issues with the ignition, Trevor Taylor, who had a fuel pump failure on lap 23, and Nasif Estéfano, Giancarlo Baghetti, and Phil Hill, all of whom withdrew.
