1958 British Grand Prix

The British Grand Prix 1958 was the 7th round of the 1958 F1 season, and took place at the Silverstone Circuit in Silverstone, UK, on July 19th.

Peter Collins won the race after starting in the 6th position, followed by Mike Hawthorn, and Roy Salvadori completing the podium.

Stirling Moss started from the pole position, but didn't manage to cross the finish line, as he suffered an engine malfunction, and had to retire on lap 25th.

These included, Wolfgang von Trips, Stirling Moss, and Cliff Allison, all of whom suffered an engine malfunction, Jo Bonnier, Gerino Gerini, and Ivor Bueb, all of whom experienced issues with the gearbox, Ian Burgess, who had a problem with the clutch on lap 40, Jean Behra, who suffered a suspension problem on lap 19, Alan Stacey, and Graham Hill, both suffered from an overall car overhating, and Jack Fairman, who had issues with the ignition on lap 7.
