2001 Brazilian Grand Prix

The Brazilian Grand Prix 2001 was the 3rd round of the 2001 F1 season, and took place at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace in São Paulo, Brazil, on April 1st.

David Coulthard won the race after starting in the 5th position, followed by Michael Schumacher, who originally had the pole position, and Nick Heidfeld completing the podium.

These included, Heinz-Harald Frentzen, and Fernando Alonso, both suffered from electrical problems, Kimi Räikkönen, Ralf Schumacher, and Eddie Irvine, all of whom lost control and spun off the track, Gastón Mazzacane, who had a problem with the clutch on lap 54, Juan Pablo Montoya, Jos Verstappen, and Rubens Barrichello, all of whom retired dure to damage caused by a collision with other cars, Luciano Burti, who suffered an engine malfunction on lap 30, Enrique Bernoldi, who experienced an hydraulic malfunction on lap 15, and Mika Häkkinen, who stalled the car on lap 0.
